Natasha Ednan-Laperouse
In July 2016 Natasha (15) died from eating sesame seeds that were baked into the dough of a baguette. Her death has led to the establishment of the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, and the introduction of ‘Natasha’s Law’ to mandate better listing of allergens in food labelling.

Red Sneakers for Oakley was established by Robert and after the death 11-year-old son Oakley Debbs due to a fatal allergic reaction to nuts. Oakley loved his red sneakers and the family decided to use them as a powerful symbol to increased education and awareness about food allergies.

In June 2020, 15-year-old Zoe Kennedy suffered an acute asthma attack and was rushed to hospital, where she was immediately placed on life-support. Four days later, the Kennedy family were devastated to learn that Zoe would not recover.
